BOLT does not just build electric super bikes, we have recently started two new major projects. The first is an electric dirt bike that will be designed and built primarily by underclassmen. The second is converting an electric bus battery into a portable power station for our bikes when we are on the road.

Unlike some other clubs where there is one project and one goal, at BOLT we encourage members to come up with projects that they find interesting, whether they are a freshman or a senior. Part of our mission is to push students to further their knowledge and learn through hands-on experiences. So we as a team offer funding to team members who show that they are willing to research and dedicate themselves to a new project.
